Constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a raised rightward facing profile of Alfred Maul, circumscribed by name and dates 1828 1907, the reverse bearing raised figures engaged in gymnastics, circumscribed by an inscriptions of MENS SARE IN CORPORE SANO (A HEALTH MIND IN A HEALTHY BODY), unmarked, measuring 50 mm in diameter, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a card stock
