A Cross Patte constructed of a silver bronze alloy, the obverse with a central medallion depicting the Hungarian Coat of Arms within a laurel wreath, the reverse inscribed A Honvdelemrt 1944 (For National Defence 1944) in Hungarian, on a fixed loop and swivel ring for suspension from an incorrect replacement ribbon, measuring 42. 5 mm (w) x 42. 4 mm (l), weighing 19. 97 grams. Accompanied by its
